Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ticket Queue Management: You will be the primary point of contact for user-reported issues, evaluating, prioritizing, documenting, and resolving or escalating problems in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshooting: You will investigate and resolve hardware and software issues throughout the organization, using your analytical skills to determine the root cause of problems.
  • Customer Service: You will maintain a positive, professional, and constructive attitude when interacting with our customers, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Hardware Management: You will be responsible for the configuration, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning of HRRMC PCs, laptops, tablets, and peripherals, ensuring they are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Training and Development: You will provide training and orientation to staff on the use of hardware and software, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively.
  • On-Call Support: You will be prepared to work outside of regular hours when required, providing on-call support to ensure the 24/7 nature of the hospital is met.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: A minimum of one to three years of experience in IS systems support, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
