Polysomnography Specialist

Job Summary

At Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled Polysomnography Tech to join our team. As a Polysomnography Tech, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct sleep studies, gather and analyze patient information, and provide accurate reports to healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Gather and analyze patient information to identify and meet patient-specific needs
Conduct sleep studies, including preparing and calibrating equipment, applying electrodes and sensors, and performing physiologic calibrations
Explain pre-testing, testing, and post-testing procedures to patients
Document routine observations, including sleep stages and clinical events
Implement appropriate interventions, including actions necessary for patient safety and therapeutic intervention

Requirements

Successful completion of a polysomnography program associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility
Equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technician
Current CPR certification
