Host Position Overview:
As a Host, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive. Your primary responsibility will be to warmly greet and welcome guests, manage seating arrangements, and maintain a smooth flow of service during busy periods. A positive demeanor and a commitment to customer satisfaction are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests with a friendly and upbeat attitude.
  • Manage and maintain a waitlist when necessary.
  • Utilize reservation systems effectively.
  • Provide menus and address initial inquiries from guests.
  • Seat guests at tables or designated waiting areas.
  • Assign tables while considering server rotation to ensure fair distribution of guests.
  • Address guest complaints and escalate to management when needed.
  • Handle phone inquiries, take reservations, and respond to general questions.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the menu offerings.
  • Bid farewell to guests as they leave.
  • Uphold and promote our company culture.

Additional Duties:

  • Assist in various roles as needed to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards.
  • Restock supplies in dining and restroom areas as required.
  • Keep the host stand and surrounding areas clean and organized.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capable of frequent mobility and lifting trays of food as necessary.
  • Comfortable working in varying temperature environments.
  • Ability to tolerate high noise levels from music and customer interactions.
  • Must be able to manage potential allergens present in the environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills in a fast-paced setting.
  • Positive attitude and ability to collaborate with team members.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Willingness to follow directions and seek clarification when needed.
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems is a plus.

Compensation:
Hourly wage based on experience, with benefits available depending on eligibility.
