Quality Manager Job Description

Amphenol RFS Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to oversee and manage the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and familiarity with ISO 14001 standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the company's QMS is fully compliant with ISO 9001 standards and maintain and continuously improve the QMS documentation, processes, and records.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols, inspection processes, and testing procedures to ensure that products meet or exceed customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Plan, conduct, and oversee internal and external audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001/ISO 14001 and other relevant standards.
  • Identify areas for improvement within the manufacturing processes and lead initiatives to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality.
  • Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, providing guidance and support to ensure that all team members are effectively contributing to the company's quality objectives.
  • Monitor customer feedback and complaints, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure that suppliers meet the company's quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and familiarity with ISO 14001 standards.
  • Experience with auditing and compliance in an ISO 9001 certified company.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to implement corrective actions effectively.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a quality management role within a manufacturing environment.
