Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Hospital Sisters Health System. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities
  • Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.
  • Promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, and providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families.
  • Supervise assigned team members and promote patient independence by establishing patient care goals, teaching patients, friends, and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills, and answering questions.
  • Assure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards, making or recommending necessary adjustments, and following nursing philosophies and standards of care set by state board of nursing, state nurse practice act, and other governing agency regulations.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare is preferred.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required.
  • Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
