Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Optician to join our team at EssilorLuxottica. As a key member of our optical team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing expert advice on eyewear and vision care.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and assist customers with their eyewear needs
  • Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses
  • Act as a leader in optical acumen and provide expert advice to customers
  • Take and record measurements, accurately adjust and fit eyewear with attention to detail
  • Assist team members with complex product needs and prescriptions
  • Accurately and thoroughly use technology to provide exceptional customer service
  • Proactively explore root causes of issues and provide solutions to customers
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time with competing priorities
  • Strive to achieve exceptional results on brand KPIs and competencies
  • Take pride in store appearance and help to keep the store clean, attractive and organized
  • Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices

Requirements:
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • State licensure
  • Optical dispensing experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous customer service and retail experience
