Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of this role is to assist in the preparation and delivery of finished products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure surfaces are properly prepared before painting, including taping and plugging.
  • Load and unload components designated for painting.
  • Utilize hand tools for the installation and removal of components, preparing them for the painting process.
  • Conduct rework and repair tasks as necessary.
  • Perform maintenance on filters.
  • Label completed parts accurately.
  • Conduct quality inspections on finished products.
  • Adhere to safety protocols at all times.
  • Manage paint specifications using a computer system.
  • Support initiatives related to the Altec Production System (APS) and engage in continuous improvement activities.
  • Adapt to various work areas to meet production demands (cross-training).
  • Assist in training new and current team members.
  • Follow established safety, environmental, and quality policies, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools.
  • Demonstrate commitment to Altec's core values.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:

Applicants must possess:
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • The ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions.
  • Basic knowledge of computer operations.
Preferred Experience and Skills:

Experience in a hands-on, fast-paced environment with familiarity in computer usage is preferred.
