Cirrus Design Corporation is seeking a skilled Exterior Finisher/Detailer to join our team. As an Exterior Finisher/Detailer, you will be responsible for preparing composite aircraft parts with high quality and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares composite aircraft parts with high quality and strong attention to detail.
- Learns the skills of finishing the exterior surfaces per our production process.
- Trained in various finishing techniques.
- Sands preparation and finishing of various aircraft surfaces such as; composite preparation, surface filler preparation and shaping, light primer application, buffing and detail, adding vinyl striping, laying and smoothing sealants, etc.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Wear a respirator and protective equipment as required.
- Work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Dependable.
- Passion for learning.
- Attention to detail.
- Familiarization with body/paint/finishing hand tools.
- Mechanical experienced background.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- One to twelve months' related experience and/or training.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
