About the Role

At Altec Industries, we are seeking a skilled Paint Preparation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our painting process.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by ensuring they are clean, dry, and free of debris.
  • Load and unload parts/components to be painted, utilizing proper safety techniques and equipment.
  • Perform rework and repair tasks as needed, adhering to quality standards and company policies.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure that painted parts meet our high standards.
  • Support the Altec Production System (APS) initiatives and participate in continuous improvement events.
  • Assist in training and developing new associates, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic computer tasks.
  • Experience working with hands in a fast-paced environment, with computer skills preferred.
