ProActive Physical Therapy Specialists is seeking a dedicated full-time Care Coordinator Float to support our clinics in Central Oregon. This role involves providing coverage for both locations, ensuring seamless operations.

The ideal candidate must be flexible and prepared to receive notifications early in the morning for same-day assignments. While we strive to provide as much notice as possible, there may be instances where last-minute coverage is required. Advance notice will be given for planned absences such as vacations or maternity leave.

As a Float, you will play a crucial role in our team, and your availability is essential. You should be able to work between 7:00 am and 6:30 pm, with hours determined by clinic needs. We require a responsible individual who can promptly inform us of their availability and any days they cannot work. The position offers a schedule of 30-40 hours per week along with benefits, including mileage reimbursement. There is potential for this role to evolve into a permanent position at a fixed location if one becomes available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing front desk scheduling
  • Welcoming patients and facilitating check-in and check-out processes
  • Handling phone calls and email inquiries
  • Collecting co-pays and other fees prior to appointments
  • Obtaining pre-authorizations for patient visits
  • Conducting insurance re-verifications and authorizations
  • Performing data entry, generating reports, auditing, and filing
  • Maintaining the front desk and reception areas
  • Engaging with patients and physicians via phone and in-person
  • Managing and updating patient records in an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
  • Completing additional duties as assigned

Previous experience in a medical or dental front office, administrative roles, or customer service is essential. Familiarity with insurance benefits, pre-authorization, and approval processes is preferred. If you possess the necessary front office experience, we look forward to meeting you.
