Key Responsibilities- Provide Primary Care and Support: Offer individualized attention and support to our youth, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Establish a Safe and Nurturing Environment: Create a stable and predictable routine, promoting a sense of security and well-being among our youth.
- Facilitate Learning and Development: Encourage and support our youth in their academic and career pursuits, helping them to develop essential life skills and competencies.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment, promoting open communication and a culture of mutual respect.
- Manage Daily Operations: Oversee the daily activities and routines of our youth, ensuring their needs are met and their well-being is prioritized.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in a residential care setting or related field.
- Skills and Qualities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with diverse populations; patience, empathy, and understanding; basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Certifications and Training: First Aid and CPR certification required; willingness to obtain additional certifications and training as needed.
