Job Summary:

The Project Specialist will be responsible for the implementation of the CHDO Essential Housing program in the Austin market.

This position will be a long-term temporary role, supporting the implementation of the CHDO program.

The ideal candidate will be a driven, proactive, and critical thinking individual who can partner with the team to assist with the review and determination of eligibility for the CHDO program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate new and existing residents to determine eligibility for the CHDO program
  • Use the telephone professionally and effectively for leasing
  • Greet, show, and lease to qualified prospects
  • Thoroughly understand the daily, weekly, and monthly leasing traffic reports
  • Coordinate move-in dates with the Community Manager
  • Thoroughly understand and abide by all Fair Housing Laws
  • Achieve and maintain an average closing ratio of 50% or better
  • Maintain a working relationship with referral agencies, including businesses and merchants
  • Set up folders and checklists
  • Complete internal checklists and update needs throughout the onboarding process
  • Track all incoming data and file accordingly

Requirements:

  • Property management experience preferred
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Knowledge of Entrata
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and thorough
  • Collaborates well with team members
  • Effective and efficient time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with high initiative, flexibility, and team approach to work
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude

Benefits:

Associates who are regularly scheduled for and work 30 hours or more per week are eligible for company-sponsored benefits the 1st day of the month, following completion of 30 continuous days of employment.

Benefits offered include medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as 401K and life insurance. Regular, full-time associates are eligible to accrue paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay.
