Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Paint and Supply Store Operations Manager to join our team at Painters Supply and Equipment Co. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in store management, customer service, and inventory control.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain daily cash drawer and ensure accurate bank deposits
  • Analyze sales data and make informed decisions to optimize business performance
  • Schedule delivery routes to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and maintain store inventory levels, including product mixing and replenishment
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of sales associates and stockroom personnel
  • Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Process sales transactions, answer customer inquiries, and provide excellent customer service
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and products, making recommendations to customers as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in retail management, preferably in the automotive paint and supply industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train team members
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally lift heavier items
