Occupational and Physical Therapy Professional Opportunity

This position involves organizing and conducting medically prescribed therapy programs using theoretical knowledge and skills from Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy disciplines to rehabilitate residents towards their improved functional capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement therapy programs tailored to individual resident needs.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices from Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy to enhance resident outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy is required.
  • Washington Occupational Therapist License must be obtained upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification must be achieved within 30 days of employment.
  • St. Joseph Care Center Skills Review class must be completed upon hire (if not already certified).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in a rehab or acute setting.
