KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct oversight of newscast producers, news crews, and production teams, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality output.
  • Approval of scripts and editing of content to maintain editorial integrity and quality.
  • Strategic planning and content selection to enhance viewer engagement and relevance.
  • Development of future story ideas and social media initiatives to expand audience reach.
  • Conducting program critiques and staff evaluations to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in newsroom management, specifically as an Executive Producer in a medium to large market.
  • Outstanding news judgment complemented by strong writing and editing capabilities.
  • Exceptional creativity and organizational skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for team collaboration.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while adhering to strict time constraints.
