Job Summary

Salcomp Manufacturing USA is seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team. As an Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on the production floor, performing essential quality tests and audits while collaborating with a dedicated team. If you have a keen eye for detail, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a strong understanding of GMPs and safety protocols, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated machinery and processes to improve manufacturing efficiency
  • Develop and maintain control systems for customer applications and processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Provide technical support and training to fellow team members
  • Assist in the development of internal training programs and initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in engineering, computer science engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science
  • Experience with PLC, Agile, HMI, APIs, and SQL software and systems
  • Skilled in writing protocols and collaboration
  • A natural problem solver

Working Conditions:

  • Works in an ESD manufacturing environment
  • Lift/carry/push/pull up to 20lbs
  • Stooping, bending, stretching, and reaching outward and over their head
  • This position may require occasional travel
