Test Technician Specialist

Salcomp Manufacturing USA is seeking a highly skilled Test Technician to support various processes across the floor within a contract manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough testing of products for safety, capacities, compliance, and performance.
- Investigate and examine specific aspects and components of products in question.
- Compile detailed reports on findings and testing data gathered.
- Provide expert recommendations and advice to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain lab and testing equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to discuss findings and implement changes in testing protocols as required.
- Consult with senior management about testing results and provide strategic guidance.
- Report any issues through the appropriate channels and recommend technical and procedural additions to test processes.
- A minimum of an AA degree or certificate from a technical school is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in lieu of an academic degree.
- Direct experience working in automated assembly involving processes such as SMT, through hole, adhesive dispense, automated assembly, and ultrasonic welding.
- Hands-on experience with optimizing processes and automated equipment.
- Strong work ethic and drive to succeed in a fast-paced, autonomously driven, and demanding start-up atmosphere.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Incumbent must be able to operate a computer and be Office proficient.
- Lift/carry 40lb.
- Stooping, bending, stretching, and reaching outward and over their head.
- This position may require extended periods of standing, and walking. Must be present on the production floor at all times.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary.
- Associates will be required to take all appropriate training classes as required.
- Willingness to cross-train and be cross-trained.
Adhere to all organizational information security policies and protect all sensitive information in accordance with organizational policy, Federal, State, and local regulations.
