Nike Retail Coach Job Description

At Nike, we're looking for a talented Retail Coach to join our team. As a Retail Coach, you'll play a vital role in delivering a premium experience for our Nike teammates and consumers. Your understanding of store operations will bring clarity to your team, and your ability to empower peers and direct reports will get results.

About the Role

This is a leadership position that requires a passion for retail and a desire to inspire and motivate others. As a Retail Coach, you'll be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and providing guidance on sales techniques, customer service, and visual merchandising. You'll also be responsible for maintaining a safe and organized store environment, ensuring that our customers have an exceptional shopping experience.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of sales associates and provide guidance on sales techniques, customer service, and visual merchandising
  • Maintain a safe and organized store environment
  • Ensure that our customers have an exceptional shopping experience
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business results
  • Collaborate with other store leaders to achieve business objectives
Requirements
  • Three years of retail and/or consumer service experience
  • One year of leadership experience
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, build and lead high-performing teams
  • Enthusiasm for engaging with consumers and inspiring them to become Nike Members
  • Digital literacy-desire to learn and adapt to technology needs with agility
  • Flexibility and willingness to work a combination of mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the business
  • Physical requirements include the ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb a ladder, and stand for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of post-secondary education will be considered a plus
