Job Title: Breast Sonographer

UCHealth (Colorado) is seeking a highly skilled Breast Sonographer to join our team in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Breast Sonographer to provide high-quality ultrasound services to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic medical sonography and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound procedures on patients to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
  • Review patient history and physician's orders to ensure accurate and effective care.
  • Position patients and perform imaging procedures to obtain high-quality images.
  • Monitor patient condition and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
  • Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certified in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
