About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paraplanner to join our team at Advisor Employee Services. As a Paraplanner, you will play a critical role in supporting our financial advisors in delivering exceptional client service and implementing financial plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service and Support
    • Prepare advisors for client meetings by briefing on upcoming meetings and staying ahead of necessary tasks.
    • Follow through on post-meeting client service action items.
  • Administrative and Operational Support
    • Prepare account-opening applications, transfers, and other administrative paperwork in a highly detailed and accurate manner.
    • Work directly with clients to execute service work, including account openings, transfers, and other advisory requests.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Prepare and update financial plans, investment allocation models, insurance proposals, and client meeting presentations.
    • Monitor and maintain firm-wide cash management, portfolio rebalancing, client portal access, and firm billing.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Serve as an extension of the lead advisor in both written and verbal communication.
    • Communicate professionally with clients and service providers on updates and follow-up needs.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of financial industry operations experience, including paraplanning and client service work.
  • Education
    • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Licenses and Certifications
    • Health (Medicare) & Life Insurance Licensed.
    • Series 65.
    • CFP certification preferred.
  • Skills
    • Outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Alignment with our team's workplace culture and core values.
