About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Food Service Representative to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Food Service Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality products are available in our prepared foods area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food in accordance with company standards and food safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area, including sweeping and cleaning the floor, and ensuring shelves are clean and well-stocked.
  • Ensure high-quality products are available in our prepared foods area by verifying expiration dates, disposing of lesser-quality food products, and maintaining temperature control.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
  • Utilize digital tools to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind.
  • Adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
  • Drive the performance of the area by utilizing digital tools, managing high exposure and expectations, and ensuring quality and date control standards.
  • Eliminate waste, guide peers, and provide attention to customer needs.
  • Assist customers according to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Food Service experience preferred.
  • Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) - Certification preferred.
