About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Researcher to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a Cybersecurity Researcher, you will be responsible for conducting research and analysis on complex software applications to identify vulnerabilities and develop effective countermeasures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis on complex software applications to identify vulnerabilities and develop effective countermeasures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cybersecurity solutions
• Conduct reverse engineering and vulnerability research on embedded/RTOS systems
• Design and develop cyber capabilities that pass US government standards
• Perform analysis against IP network protocols to identify, decode, decrypt, and extract relevant data from network traffic

Requirements

• 10 years of strong experience with one or more of the following: reverse engineering and vulnerability research on embedded/RTOS systems, weaponizing exploits against identified 0-day vulnerabilities, designing and developing cyber capabilities that pass US government standards, performing analysis against IP network protocols to identify, decode, decrypt, and extract relevant data from network traffic, performing hardware analysis to identify UART or JTAG interfaces and dump firmware, performing file format and network protocol fuzzing and triage and reverse engineering crashes, experience with scalable network solutions (CISCO, etc.), languages: kernel level C/Python, Assembly (x86/64, ARM, PPC, Mips, etc.), hardware/firmware/communications/OS reverse engineering, hardware emulation
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• TS/SCI clearance

We offer a competitive salary range of $96,000 - $200,000, excellent benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. We also offer annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
