This role supports all departments by ensuring production equipment operates efficiently and that Company facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and ensure the following tasks are completed safely:
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality in line with Company policies.
  • Engage professionally with colleagues and clients.
  • Work overtime as required.
  • Provide guidance and direction to the Maintenance Staff.
  • Lead efforts to guarantee adequate supervision and maintenance of equipment on a daily basis.
  • Conduct safety compliance inspections and maintain records for production equipment.
  • Instruct staff on equipment start-up procedures and machine operation.
  • Procure service components necessary for the repair or preventive maintenance of equipment and facilities.
  • Ensure the engagement of competent contractors for external work.
  • Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement necessary repairs.
  • Explore new technologies and automation opportunities to reduce overall manufacturing costs.
  • Plan and estimate for capital projects, including writing ARFs.
  • Manage and monitor project progress.
  • Ensure that Company facilities, including buildings and grounds, are maintained to Company standards.
  • Oversee facilities maintenance activities.
  • Ensure mechanical and electrical maintenance of the facility is performed as needed.
  • Ensure that scheduled Preventative Maintenance is carried out and documented as per Company Policy.

Your Educational and Training Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A four-year degree and/or completion of Trade School is preferred.
  • A Master's degree is an advantage.
  • Five or more years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing setting.
  • Three or more years of experience in a supervisory or management role.

Your Experience Requirements:

  • This position requires knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, electronics (PLC), carpentry, welding, machining, and fabrication. Certifications in these areas are highly beneficial.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting the aforementioned categories is essential. Experience in stamping equipment maintenance is preferred.
  • The candidate should be capable of training personnel in areas needing improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.

Supervision and Interaction:

  • This position involves direct, day-to-day supervision of Maintenance personnel.
  • This role frequently interacts with the Operations Manager, Production Supervisors, Leads, and other team members.
