About the Role:

The Service Advisor - Key Carrier is a part-time role that provides exceptional customer service and sales support to our customers. As a trusted advisor, you will utilize your knowledge of our products and services to drive sales and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide total solutions to customers by offering products, technology, services, furniture, and print offerings.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships by utilizing provided training to support sales offerings.
  • Demonstrate a passion for the brand, technology products, furniture, print, and other services/products offered to our customers.
  • Utilize Office Depot Inc.'s proven sales principles to proactively engage customers and drive sales.
  • Assess customer needs to ensure satisfaction in every interaction.
  • Perform Leader on Duty functions while in the role.
  • Act as a part-time 'Key Carrier' for the location and perform opening and closing responsibilities.
  • Conduct external key carrier responsibilities, including but not limited to, opening and closing the store.
  • Perform cash handling, cashier, and merchandise error logs, register voids, tax exemption, and all related cash office audits.
  • Maintain store and print department appearance to company guidelines and keep a neat, clean, well-stocked environment.
  • Drive positive customer satisfaction levels and provide effective training to associates to enhance the customer experience.
  • Collaborate on community outreach initiatives and coordinate in-store events with small and medium businesses to increase foot traffic and client/customer retention.
  • Continually develop personal selling skills and product knowledge through sales and service tools provided.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices; and support the company's loss prevention efforts.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent education preferred.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Sales and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to use computers and technology for information and to access information necessary to complete the job.
  • Skilled in customer service and print services experience would be desired.
  • Must possess advanced selling skills.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, which are necessary to establish a selling relationship with customers.
  • Must be adaptable to a changing environment.
  • Must be able to assist others in a professional environment.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must possess the ability to use technology applicable to the role, and to access information necessary to complete daily responsibilities.
  • Must possess the ability to process information/merchandise through POS register system.
  • Pays close attention to detail to ensure high-quality production in the Print Services area.
  • Positive and engaging, action-oriented, and integrity, accountability, and trust.
  • Demonstrate passion for the brand, products, services, and solutions offered to our customers.
  • Must possess a desire to continually develop personal selling skills and product knowledge.
  • Drive for results, decision quality, and patience.
