Our client is a cloud-based software platform and patient engagement technology that automates the collection of patient reported outcomes. They offer procedure-specific education modules to help prepare patients for treatments and proactively monitor their recovery.

The Role

We are seeking a Marketing Communications Manager to join our team. As a key marketing leader, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing exceptional and effective marketing campaigns and internal/external communication initiatives. You will lead junior marketing communications team members, work closely with internal marketing partners, and manage external vendor relationships to deliver insightful and compelling content that successfully promotes our client's products, services, and brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing and communications plans, including content campaigns, events, digital marketing, and public relations
  • Oversee the creation and execution of all content, including eBooks, whitepapers, infographics, email campaigns, videos, award and event submissions, press releases, bylines, blog posts, and social media posts
  • Ensure accuracy of publications and support brand alignment
  • Align communications and campaigns with defined user/buyer personas and value propositions
  • Guide the day-to-day marketing activities, ensuring objectives are implemented
  • Oversee junior marketing communications team members and manage external vendor relationships
  • Conduct consistent analysis of internal and external marketing communications opportunities and needs
  • Work closely with the company's internal stakeholders enabling them to exceed objectives by providing appropriate tools, materials, and presentations
Requirements
  • Relevant advanced degree required, with 7+ years of related professional experience in marketing, communications, journalism, public affairs, or a related field
  • Experience within the healthcare field required, healthcare SaaS marketing experience preferred
  • Well-versed in branding and marketing/communication strategies and tactics (traditional and digital)
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to think strategically, synthesize feedback, and translate strategy into effective tactics
  • Ability to determine a marketing campaign's scope, milestones, objectives, and dependencies
  • Experience managing external teams/vendors
  • Experience leading/mentoring internal team members
  • Experience making data-driven marketing decisions and owning the outcomes of those decisions
  • Strong organizational and forward-looking planning skills
