We are seeking a skilled Ready Mix Batch Plant Operator to join our team at Arkansas and Louisiana Aggregate. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our ready mix batch plants to produce high-quality concrete products.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain ready mix batch plants to produce concrete as ordered, making adjustments as needed.
- Train on and operate heavy equipment to maintain stockpiles, load ready mix plants, and perform general yard maintenance.
- Maintain a working inventory of raw materials and communicate replenishment needs to ensure efficient production.
- Perform preventative maintenance and assist with repairs of plants and equipment as needed.
- Ensure general yard housekeeping and maintain a safe working environment.
- Participate in quality control testing and coordinate with customers to dispatch trucks to job sites.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of batch plant operations and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
