Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Community Psychiatric Support and Treatment (CPST) Worker to join our team at Hope For Youth. As a CPST Worker, you will play a vital role in providing goal-directed supports and solution-focused interventions to children and families in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide face-to-face interventions with children, families, and caregivers to address behavioral health needs and achieve identified goals.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Conduct assessments, crisis management, and counseling services as needed.
  • Work closely with clients to set goals, create interpersonal relationships, and achieve stability in their home environment.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a trauma-informed, culturally competent, and linguistically sensitive approach to service delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • At least one year of experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid NYS driver's license and reliable vehicle for regular use.
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds, escort children/youth, and restrain during crisis situations.
