Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Education Team Lead to join our team as a Toddler Mentor Teacher. This is a dynamic and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of early childhood education principles, and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education to young children.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and growth in children aged 12-36 months. You will work closely with a team of educators to plan and implement engaging activities, observations, and assessments that support each child's unique needs and interests. As a mentor teacher, you will also provide guidance and support to less-experienced teachers, participate in professional development opportunities, and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement inquiry-based curricula that inspire curiosity and promote learning across areas of development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver high-quality educational programs that meet the diverse needs of children.
  • Mentor and support less-experienced teachers to develop their skills and confidence.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents through regular communication, observation sharing, and parent conferences.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
  • 3-10 years of experience working with young children in an ECE setting.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of current research and practices in early childhood education.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and move quickly to respond to the needs of children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary

$45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
