Position Overview:


We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Manager/VP of Tax to spearhead our tax planning and compliance initiatives.

The successful candidate will possess a solid background in tax strategies for affluent individuals, with a strong emphasis on trust and estate planning.

This role requires close collaboration with our financial advisors, estate planners, and external partners to provide integrated tax solutions that align with our clients' complex financial needs.


Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute tax strategies customized for high-net-worth clients, focusing on wealth preservation and tax efficiency.
Provide leadership and oversight for all tax planning, compliance, and reporting activities.

Advise on intricate tax issues related to investments, real estate, international taxation, and other pertinent areas for our clients' diverse portfolios.

Collaborate with estate planners to incorporate tax-efficient strategies into estate and trust planning.
Stay informed about changes in tax legislation and assess their implications for clients, proactively modifying strategies as necessary.
Manage relationships with external tax advisors, accountants, and legal experts to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
Lead, mentor, and develop members of the internal tax team.
Engage in client meetings and presentations, providing expert tax guidance and addressing complex tax-related inquiries.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree in Taxation is highly preferred.
CPA or equivalent certification is required.

A minimum of 10 years of tax experience in wealth management, private banking, or a similar setting, with a strong focus on high-net-worth individuals.

Expertise in trust and estate planning is highly desirable.
Comprehensive understanding of the tax implications of various investment vehicles and strategies.
Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with the capacity to translate complex tax regulations into actionable advice.
Strong leadership skills and experience in team management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to foster relationships with clients, team members, and external partners.
