Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Technician C to lead our clinical service team at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care and procedures, including imaging and nursing care. Your expertise and leadership skills will be essential in ensuring the highest level of care for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily clinical service tasks and assign staff to responsibilities based on their skill set.
  • Perform patient care, imaging, and procedures as needed.
  • Assist in other clinical service areas as assigned.
  • Instruct and supervise veterinary and veterinary technician students in imaging and nursing.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
  • Associate of Science degree and 3-5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Credentialed veterinary technician (CVT, LVT, RVT or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical practice.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Horse handling skills required.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Computer skills required.
