CAMBA is a leading nonprofit organization in New York City, dedicated to building an inclusive community through comprehensive services and programs. We are seeking an experienced Senior Employer Partnerships Developer to join our Workforce Development and Refugee Services team.

About the Role

This full-time position will focus on developing and maintaining relationships with potential employers in the NY Metro area, resulting in job placements for clients with professional skill sets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in job development, recruitment, and leadership, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate databases of prospective employer contact information
  • Research and initiate contact with potential employers to secure job openings in various sectors
  • Maintain excellent relationships and timely communication with potential employers
  • Supervise a team of Job Developers, overseeing workload and performance outcomes
  • Support Job Developers in expanding their networking, employer outreach, and job development skills
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree (B.A.) and at least two years of experience in job development or recruitment
  • Proven track record of career-level job development with established employer contacts in fields such as finance, IT, healthcare, education, and engineering
  • One year of staff supervisory experience required
  • Strong leadership, critical thinking, judgment, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent ability to network with employers and community partners to generate outcomes for clients
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with experience delivering presentations to internal and external audiences
  • Strong documentation skills, including accurately recording client information and completing necessary paperwork
