Location: Washington Distribution Center
Key Responsibilities:The Incoming Quality Auditor is responsible for conducting thorough quality assessments on products received from various suppliers and manufacturing facilities. The role includes:
- Executing quality audits on incoming products to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Performing necessary testing in accordance with product specifications and defect reference manuals, utilizing both quantitative and visual methods.
- Compiling and preparing detailed reports of findings and testing results for review by the lead.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of all testing activities and relevant findings.
- Demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and filing systems.
- Following work instructions meticulously to ensure adherence to procedures.
- Collaborating closely with Quality Engineers assigned to each product line.
- Contributing to the development and refinement of new procedures as required.
- Gaining knowledge of the JDE E1 ERP system.
- Learning to utilize Docuware for the filing and routing of Nonconformance Reports (NCRs).
- Performing additional duties as assigned by the lead or manager.
- Being open to learning and operating equipment such as Hi-Rise, Center-Ride, and/or Stand-Up Forklifts.
Language Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including prints, orders, and instructions. Capable of writing reports and correspondence effectively.
Mathematical Skills: Competence in calculating figures and amounts, including quantities and box counts. Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts and perform detailed measurements.
Reasoning Skills: Ability to follow instructions presented in written, oral, or diagrammatic form. Capable of working effectively under pressure or in stressful situations.
Physical Requirements:The physical demands of this position require the employee to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the work shift. Essential functions include:
- Frequent use of hands for dexterity and handling equipment.
- Regular lifting and/or moving of objects weighing up to 70 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
- Ability to hear warning signals and oral instructions for safety.

Review Process:Performance and job responsibilities will be reassessed periodically, at least once a year.
