About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our State and Local Tax (SALT) practice at KPMG. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advising clients on a full spectrum of corporate tax services, including planning, research, and mergers and acquisitions activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on corporate tax services, including planning, research, and mergers and acquisitions activities
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver due diligence and tax structuring services
  • Liaise with clients' finance and accounting departments to gather information for tax analysis
  • Assist clients with post-acquisition integration activities for state and local taxes
  • Supervise and mentor staff
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of experience in tax research and technical advice
  • Bachelor's degree, J.D., LL.M. in taxation, or Master's in Taxation from an accredited college/university
  • Knowledge of corporate tax matters in various industries
  • Ability to handle multiple engagements and client service teams
  • Excellent writing, communication, and tax research skills
