Role Summary:

We are seeking an AV Systems Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the AV/UC team to spearhead the design, execution, and management of advanced AV technologies across our domestic and international offices. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong problem-solving skills, and excel in communication, while embracing teamwork and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain relationships with domestic and international offices, serving as the primary contact for all AV-related needs.
  • Oversee Move, Adds, and Change requests pertaining to AV systems.
  • Lead the design and deployment of AV collaboration environments and broadcast systems in partnership with service providers and the AV/UC team, ensuring adherence to global technology standards.
  • Manage integration vendors and internal partners to swiftly resolve issues and ensure compliance with scope agreements.
  • Work alongside Facilities, Real Estate, Security, and other teams to coordinate logistics and execution for AV installations.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for AV deployments, continuously seeking process improvement opportunities.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to translate customer needs into innovative and scalable AV solutions.
  • Provide updates on project status and follow up on outstanding items with integration vendors.
  • Utilize Jira to manage project workloads, applying Agile methodologies and best practices.
  • Document standards and conduct training for junior staff and IT Service Desk teams on troubleshooting and best practices.
  • Identify equipment replacement needs and establish lifecycle policies for AV equipment.
  • Maintain inventories for equipment repairs and rapid deployments.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of system configurations and infrastructure in collaborative platforms.
Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of experience as an AV Engineer in a corporate setting, or a professional degree with 3+ years in a related field focused on high-level system design and integration.
  • Extensive experience in project management, particularly in construction and new build projects.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects from inception to completion.
  • AVIXA CTS Certification is required.
  • Demonstrated leadership in coordinating cross-functional teams, including AV technicians and external vendors.
  • Strong collaboration skills with various stakeholders to align AV solutions with business goals.
  • Familiarity with video walls and Cisco conference room technologies.
  • Knowledge of AV transmission protocols such as UDP, H.323, VoIP, and SIP.
  • Experience with video conferencing platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco Webex).
  • Understanding of audio, video, lighting, and control system components.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with all organizational levels.
  • A passion for customer support, with a focus on helping clients achieve their objectives efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications such as CTS-D, CTS-I, PMP, or relevant manufacturer certifications.
  • Experience troubleshooting enterprise AV technologies including Cisco, Crestron, Extron, Biamp, and Shure.
  • 2+ years of customer support experience in a technical context.
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Jira and Asana.
  • Knowledge of Digital Cinema Initiatives (DCI) compliant technologies.
  • Experience with digital signage and display systems.
  • Understanding of AV networking protocols and standards.
  • Familiarity with AV programming languages (e.g., Crestron, SIMPL, AMX, Extron).
Work Environment:

This position will operate in a hybrid work environment.

Compensation:

The annual base salary for this role ranges from $116,000 to $152,000, with eligibility for benefits and discretionary bonuses. Salary may vary based on relevant experience, role duration, business sector, and geographic location. Please consult with a CAA Recruiter for further details.
