Position Overview:
We are on the lookout for a talented Multimedia Systems Engineer to enhance our team and support our extensive network of entertainment venues and B2B installations. This role presents an exhilarating opportunity to engage in the vibrant and rapidly evolving field of immersive entertainment. Our AVL engineers are the technical backbone of our daily operations, ensuring the flawless functioning of our cutting-edge experience technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, engineer, and implement CoSM experience technology in our venues and for select B2B customer projects.
- Develop strategies for efficient scaling of experience technology and ensure uniformity across venues.
- Create detailed documentation for installed systems, including wiring diagrams, configuration settings, maintenance playbooks, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Establish operational procedures for both new and existing technology, providing resources for training and technical support.
- Oversee system upgrades, hardware and software installations, and technology transitions.
- Coordinate and track the resolution of issues across all presentation systems, continuously reviewing field requests and challenges to develop effective solutions.
- Assist field teams in diagnosing and assessing issues, providing actionable resolutions or workaround guidance to maintain operational continuity.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless integration of our experience technology.
- Act as a subject matter expert for new media/artist collaborations, corporate events, and special projects.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to design and recommend innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of proven experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining audiovisual systems in professional settings.
- Expertise in AV processing, control systems, routing, and signal flow.
- Extensive experience with Windows PC technology.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, organized, proactive, and collaborative.
- Experience with Q-SYS programming, ETC Paradigm and/or Mosaic programming, multicast video workflows, and/or IPTV systems is a plus.
Additional Information:
This position may require occasional travel, estimated at less than 10% of annual working days.
Compensation:
The annualized base salary range for this position is competitive and will be determined based on internal equity, geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant experience.
