K2 Staffing is currently seeking a skilled SCADA Systems Integration Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with various SCADA platforms, particularly focusing on Wonderware InTouch/System Platform, Inductive Automation Ignition, FactoryTalk, and Modicon/Allen Bradley/Automation Direct/ControlWave.
Our organization prides itself on being a leader in providing technical expertise in water management systems. We are looking for dedicated professionals who value collaboration and are eager to contribute to a tight-knit team. Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of SCADA programming experience and be looking for long-term growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to identify their requirements.
- Evaluate existing SCADA systems and offer improvement recommendations.
- Program PLCs and develop SCADA interface screens.
- Configure and troubleshoot OIT terminals and wireless radios.
- Provide technical support across all aspects of SCADA systems.
- Assist in the preparation of quotes and bids.
- Collaborate with management to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
- Commit to continuous learning and skill enhancement in new and existing technologies.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on systematic troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of electronics.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Creative and innovative mindset.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of specialized SCADA experience.
- Certification in Systems Platform for at least five years.
- Proficient in all areas of SCADA programming.
- Able to establish and maintain standards for SCADA system development and reporting.
- Reliable transportation is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in System Platform (to be obtained within 90 days of employment).
- 3+ years of experience in SCADA programming for water management systems.
- Familiarity with various PLC equipment, including Allen Bradley and Automation Direct.
- Experience with alternative SCADA interfaces such as Ignition and Factory Talk View.
- Field experience with wireless communication technologies.
- Knowledge of Cisco routers and Ethernet networking.
