We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual Technician III to enhance our operations in California. This role is crucial to our team, focusing on installation and maintenance tasks. We value candidates who possess both technical skills and a positive demeanor.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and execute installation activities for AV projects, including cable management, projector and display mounting, and rack wiring, alongside maintenance and troubleshooting of AV systems.
- Lead the integration of cutting-edge AV technologies from top manufacturers such as Barco, Biamp, Christie Digital, Crestron, Extron, Middle Atlantic, NVIDIA, Poly, Samsung, Shure, Sony, and Microsoft Teams.
- Assist in on-site commissioning processes.
- Conduct preventative maintenance, routine testing, and diagnostics of integrated systems.
- Interpret architectural plans, schematics, and blueprints effectively.
- Manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities efficiently.
- Exercise sound judgment in customer interactions and task execution.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Evaluate and test new technologies and implementation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with IGI standards in all job functions.
- Pursue professional growth through continuous training and certification opportunities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial audiovisual systems.
- Ability to distinguish colors accurately.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in AV integration preferred.
- Strong understanding of AV systems integration and familiarity with construction techniques.
- Experience with Biamp DSP is advantageous.

This position involves regular local travel and occasional out-of-state travel. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. Compensation ranges from $26 to $38 per hour, based on experience.
