Customer Service Representative

A. Duie Pyle, a family-owned business, is seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Job Summary:This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information on our services.
Key Responsibilities:- Schedule and Coordinate Shipments: Schedule pick-ups, trace shipments, and provide shipment ETAs, rate quotes, and freight charges.
- Customer Communication: Coordinate with internal departments, partners, delivery agents, brokers, and container stations to schedule shipments and handle customer issues.
- Delivery and Logistics: Schedule delivery appointments and handle re-consignments.
- Account Management: Coordinate communication with customers, drivers, and Accounts Receivable regarding Driver Collect and C.O.D. shipments.
- Financial Accuracy: Ensure accurate billing of shipments.
- Reporting and Analysis: Compile and deliver custom reports; perform daily audits of reports.
- Documentation: Document all customer interactions for follow-up and record-keeping purposes.
- Technical Support: Assist customers with My Pyle registration and utilization of our website.
- Performance Metrics: Meet standards for all Key Performance Indicators (Call Quality, Process Knowledge Assessment, Adherence to Schedule, Make Busy %, Contacts per Hour).
- Experience: Experience in a fast-paced work environment; strong attention to detail.
- Technical Skills: Strong familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook); basic typing skills.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; work effectively as an individual contributor and/or as part of a team.
- Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including early mornings, evenings, and non-traditional hours.
- Customer Service Experience: Minimum 1 year of prior customer service experience.
