Work Schedule:
Full-time shift from Monday to Friday, 2 PM to 10:30 PM, with rotating weekends.

Role Overview:
As a Medical Laboratory Scientist II, you will execute a variety of laboratory tests in designated areas as per your certification. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Conducting analytical testing on blood and other biological specimens.
- Maintaining compliance with laboratory policies and quality control measures.
- Participating in exceptional customer service and fostering respectful relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be expected to:
- Perform pre-analytical tasks, including equipment maintenance and specimen collection.
- Execute all tests and procedures accurately, adhering to established protocols.
- Report results, including critical findings, in accordance with established guidelines.
- Provide training and orientation to new staff and students as needed.
- Support technicians and staff in resolving customer service issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates should possess:
- Technical expertise in laboratory procedures.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Educational Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or related sciences is required, along with two years of relevant experience.
Licensure and Certification:
Candidates must hold appropriate certifications such as:
- American Medical Technologists
- American Society for Clinical Pathology
- State-specific laboratory licensure as applicable
