Production Manager

The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of evening manufacturing activities. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, meeting production targets, and fostering a positive work culture during the second shift.
Key Responsibilities:- Safety and Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of safety, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Production Management: Achieve production targets in areas such as safety, scheduling, and quality adherence during the 2nd shift.
- Leadership and Coaching: Provide guidance, coaching, and clear direction to team members, promoting a high-performance culture.
- Employee Management: Conduct one-on-one performance reviews, address employee issues promptly, and manage interviews and hiring decisions for hourly employees.
- Process Improvement: Identify and support process improvements in manufacturing, ensuring operational efficiency and productivity.
- Inventory and Batch Management: Perform inventory transactions, ensure accurate tracking, and oversee the timely review of batch records and necessary corrections.
- Investigations and Corrective Actions: Lead investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent non-conformance issues.
- Training and Development: Ensure new team members or those transferring are properly trained before starting their duties.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment preferred.
- Skills: Excellent presentation skills, strong organizational and time management abilities, effective interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivation, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours or more).
