About the Role

This highly visible role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on Apple Products and leave a lasting footprint. As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing and providing feedback on design and manufacturing practices, setting standards, and partnering with cross-functional teams to evaluate design and processes at the concept phase.

You will develop new and improved processes for parts and assemblies through theoretical and practical engineering, drive corrective actions cross-functionally with internal and external team members, and design experiments to prove out manufacturing processes or design iterations. Additionally, you will provide early and ongoing manufacturing involvement to ensure new products are mechanically manufacturable.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have creative problem-solving experience, experience in process development/bring up and qualification, program/project management experience, and manufacturing or supplier management experience. You should also have a working knowledge of GD&T and Engineering Drawing Interpretation, Design of Experiments, statistical process control methods, and theory. Proficiency in Excel and JMP is required, while knowledge of Metrology design and Optical/Contact Measurement Equipment is preferred.

We are looking for an excellent written and verbal communicator in English, with Mandarin or Korean language skills being a plus but not required. A strong team player with good command of industry-standard software and tools is essential for success in this role.

Apple is committed to providing its employees with a comprehensive compensation package that includes a competitive salary and benefits. For this role, the estimated base pay range is between $122,300 and $227,600, depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple also offers discretionary employee stock programs, including restricted stock unit awards and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Additionally, you will receive benefits such as comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, and access to discounted products and services.
