At Highland Rivers Behavioral Health, we are dedicated to providing treatment and recovery services to individuals impacted by mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual developmental disabilities.

Job Summary:

The Mother\u0027s Making A Change Program is a residential program designed to help women learn how to manage life issues and day-to-day living without the use of mood- or mind-altering substances or drugs.

Program services promote recovery, self-sufficiency, development of support networks, and other important life skills to enhance mental health and reduce the risk of needing inpatient treatment.

As a Mental Health Therapist, you will conduct groups, individual therapy, and psychoeducation as delineated via program licensure by Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH)/Health Facility Regulation (HFR).

You will also follow established guidelines in the Substance Use Program Plan, complete behavioral health assessments and/or service plan developments, and develop collaborative treatment plans.

Other duties include follow-up calls with referrals, participation in Treatment/consultation/clinical team meetings, and intervening and managing acute crisis situations as needed.

Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Masters Degree in a Helping Field and valid psychopathology/diagnostic training.

Associate License or Licensed Professional Counselor/Clinical Social Worker/Marriage and Family Therapist as per the State of Georgia.

At least 1 year experience working in Mental Health or Substance Use Disorder field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education - Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or licensed professional counselor (LPC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Two to three years of full-time clinical experience.

Bilingual abilities a plus.
