Mental Health Support Specialist

At Highland Rivers Behavioral Health, we are dedicated to providing treatment and recovery services to individuals impacted by mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual developmental disabilities. As a Caseworker, you will play a vital role in helping our clients build self-esteem, resiliency, and life skills in a fun and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with service needs, developing strategies and supportive social networks, and coordinating rehabilitation services as specified in the individual's recovery plan.
- Partner with the individual and service providers in the development of the individual service plan.
- Provide assistance and support in crisis situations.
- Provide assessment, monitoring, and assistance to individuals.
- Establish professional and ethical relationships with individuals, families, and coworkers.
- Provide direct service to individuals, complete all necessary paperwork according to policy, and ensure individuals meet eligibility criteria or refer to appropriate providers in the community.
- Manage a caseload by ensuring all services are authorized, chart paperwork is complete and current, and consumer charts are closed according to Agency guidelines.
