Job Title: Project Executive

We are seeking an experienced Project Executive to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities of designated projects to ensure timely completion and budget adherence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in proposal writing and review project proposals, drawings, and plans to determine project scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate pre-construction services and assist in directing strategic planning and business development.
  • Review project activities, costs, and operations to ensure progress toward project goals and objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, understanding client needs, expectations, and concerns.
  • Establish a growing network of business associates, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Coordinate with marketing to promote Kraus-Anderson's capabilities and provide leads and recommendations for KA services.
  • Confer with project staff to outline work plans, assign duties, and ensure accountability for roles and responsibilities.
  • Establish clear performance goals and regularly evaluate team members' performance, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching as needed.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and schedules to project teams to preserve the contract and project schedule.
  • Prepare project reports for clients and others, and review status reports prepared by project personnel, modifying schedules or plans as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years related work experience, with proven experience in project management or executive roles, particularly in overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and knowledge of project management software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals.
  • Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Four-year degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge of ViewPoint software.
