Job Summary

The Director of Operations will partner closely with senior leadership to implement and execute strategy for assigned business units. This role requires strong leadership skills, financial analysis expertise, and the ability to drive teams to actively engage in the Essentia Performance Management system to drive quality, safety, and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide input and draft SBAR's for capital planning, new provider FTE's, pro formas, and care delivery model changes.
  • Ensure KPI's for assigned business units are achieved and/or actively engage others to create action plans to achieve KPI's.
  • Lead PDSA's and other improvement activities.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to direct reports and mentor others to grow and advance management/leadership skills.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and Medical Staff development planning to achieve organization growth objectives.
  • Accept special projects as assigned by the Market or Division and participate in system-wide or market-wide committees as assigned.
  • Plan and execute complex agendas and lead team meetings to drive performance.
  • Actively participate in provider and staff recruitment activities and work closely with HR and Physician Services partners.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a clinical/healthcare-related field.
  • 8 years of healthcare experience, preferably in a clinical setting, including 3 years of leadership experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of revenue cycle workflows to ensure revenue accuracy of assigned areas.
  • Skilled at Dyad leadership collaboration.
