Job Description

Job Summary:

North Point Defense is seeking an experienced professional to join its team as a Network Analyst. This role involves planning and coordinating the implementation of network infrastructure, evaluating requirements, and recommending designs to ensure efficient and secure network operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate the implementation of network infrastructure, including switch cuts, forecasts, and special projects.
  • Evaluate user requirements and recommend designs to ensure efficient and secure network operations.
  • Develop network performance criteria and measurement methods.
  • Perform technical analysis of software, hardware, and network systems.
  • Develop alternative routing scenarios and changes in required sequence of network activities.
  • Automate statistical research and reports.
  • Prepare, test, implement, and operate computer programs for modeling and simulation tools.
  • Perform future worth economic selection studies on network upgrades and components to determine feasibility, cost, time required, and compatibility with current system.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Network Analysis or IT.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Current TS/SCI clearance is a strong plus.
  • Ability to travel out of state up to 4 times a year for a week or more in duration.
