Position Overview

As a Lead Angiography Specialist, you will play a crucial role in overseeing Angiography procedures while also performing essential duties as needed. You will be responsible for coordinating workflow, delegating tasks, and guiding team members to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a resource for staff involved in Angiography procedures.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with departmental standards for diagnostic procedures.
  • Address routine and complex issues to maintain efficient department operations.
  • Supervise the performance of Angiography Technologists and assist in performance evaluations.
  • Manage scheduling and timekeeping for the team.
  • Participate in on-call/standby duties as required.
Qualifications

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology (RT) or Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI).
  • Completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) training.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification as applicable.
  • A minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in Interventional Radiology.
Skills Required

Essential skills include:

  • Strong analytical and clinical abilities to adapt procedures to patient needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction.
  • Technical proficiency in operating specialized imaging equipment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of accreditation requirements and standards.
  • Physical stamina for patient handling and care activities.
