Position Overview- Specialty: Lead Angiography Specialist

- 40 hours per week

As a Lead Angiography Specialist, you will play a crucial role in overseeing Angiography procedures while also performing essential duties as needed. You will be responsible for coordinating workflow, delegating tasks, and guiding team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a resource for staff involved in Angiography procedures.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with departmental standards for diagnostic procedures.
- Address routine and complex issues to maintain efficient department operations.
- Supervise the performance of Angiography Technologists and assist in performance evaluations.
- Manage scheduling and timekeeping for the team.
- Participate in on-call/standby duties as required.
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology (RT) or Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI).
- Completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) training.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification as applicable.
- A minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in Interventional Radiology.
Essential skills include:
- Strong analytical and clinical abilities to adapt procedures to patient needs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction.
- Technical proficiency in operating specialized imaging equipment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of accreditation requirements and standards.
- Physical stamina for patient handling and care activities.
