Key Responsibilities of the Foreman

Leadership and Team Management

  • Effectively communicates tasks and updates to the team before, during, and after each project.
  • Provides training to team members on installation techniques, tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Ensures the safety of the team and adherence to safety protocols at all times.
  • Inspires and motivates team members while recognizing their contributions.
  • Maintains open communication with the Production Manager regarding team performance and project challenges.

Installation Duties

  • Reviews project specifications to ensure all necessary materials and equipment are loaded prior to departure.
  • Evaluates job site conditions upon arrival and makes necessary adjustments.
  • Delivers high-quality installations, ensuring timely project completion.
  • Handles payment collection upon job completion.
  • Completes and submits all required documentation to the appropriate personnel.

Customer Engagement

  • Maintains communication with clients throughout the project using the company's messaging system.
  • Informs clients of any changes to the project scope before altering the original proposal.
  • Ensures the job site is left clean and takes proactive measures to improve the condition of the client's property.
  • Strives to provide clients with an outstanding experience.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Preferred state licensing in Minnesota for installing mitigation systems and testing for residential radon, with support available for obtaining this license.
  • Experience in construction or related fields is required.
  • Proficiency in operating equipment and power tools is essential.
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with at least one year of experience in construction trades or a combination of education and experience demonstrating a successful track record.
  • Ability to lift or move items weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Capability to work in various environments, including crawl spaces.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
