Digital Transformation Principal Engineer

The EOSYS Group is seeking a highly skilled Digital Transformation Principal Engineer to join our team. As a technical solutions manager, you will be responsible for leveraging technology to transform business processes, improve visibility, enable the workforce, and enhance operational agility, quality, and productivity in manufacturing companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, design, construct, test, and implement industrial applications and hardware technologies that enable our customers' Digital Transformation.
  • Lead the startup and commissioning for new systems or major updates to existing systems.
  • Oversee multiple project teams, working with the Project Manager as a Technical Solutions Manager, to ensure robust and quality solutions are developed.

Requirements:

  • B.S. in Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited college/university.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in software development.
  • Minimum 6 years' experience developing or leading the development of MES, MOM, or manufacturing applications.
  • ISA-95 expertise and ability to architect manufacturing information solutions.
  • Expertise in all project phases including design, development, and implementation.
  • Strong experience with an object-oriented programming language and SQL.
  • Must have experience with OPC architecture, configuration, and deployment.
  • Experience architecting PLC-based data collection solutions.
  • Experience with customer requirements and specification development.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks, have excellent attention to detail, and be willing and able to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Must be able to work successfully in a matrix structure, focused strongly on customer service and personnel growth.
  • Must have experience successfully interacting and working with customers at multiple levels of responsibility in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Must have solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have a strong work ethic and be willing to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Must be willing to work in a plant environment up to 20% of the time.
  • Successful completion of drug screen and background check.

Nice to Have:

  • Strong experience with C#.NET & MS SQL Server.
  • Experience with design and development of interfaces with business systems (ERP, WMS, CMMS, etc.).
  • MES platform experience (Rockwell, Siemens, AVEVA, Parsec TrakSYS, Ignition/Sepasoft, etc.).
  • Experience with IIoT, Cloud, MQTT-Spark Plug.
  • Experience with SCADA systems, Barcode scanners, RFID, Machine vision.
