Job Summary

Vaco is seeking a skilled Help Desk Lead to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to internal staff and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end users, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with computer systems and software.
  • Research and resolve technical inquiries in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to organizational standards.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot end-user computing problems, including analyzing issues, identifying solutions, and testing fixes.
  • Document customer interactions and technical issues in a detailed and accurate manner.
  • Communicate technical information to customers in a clear and concise manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant policies and procedures to provide accurate technical solutions to users.
  • Assist with activities to triage and escalate system or network outages to minimize downtime.
  • Provide remote assistance with teleconferencing systems and AV presentation equipment.
  • Purchase, deploy, and track IT assets.
  • Onboard new users and assist with ERP operations.
  • Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems.
  • Experience maintaining zebra thermal printers, troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals.
  • Ability to prioritize work based on department and production objectives independently in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Service Management, Project Management, and Inventory Management skills are a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft Office applications and Windows Operating Systems.
  • Minimum 1 year of maintaining laser printers.
  • A+, Network +, or other IT industry standard certifications.
  • Ability to move up to 49lbs as well as stand and walk for 8 hours at a time with or without reasonable accommodation.
